Honey Trap in Silk on Candy AIa seduction plot turned against its author

What Honey Trap in Silk is about

An unfaithful wife hires a stunning masseuse to tempt her billionaire husband. He sees the plan coming, and every forbidden moment becomes part of a silky revenge plot built to leave her with nothing.

Many marriage stories on Candy are about temptation; this one is about strategy. A wife who is already unfaithful brings in a masseuse to tempt her very rich husband. He sees the scheme coming and turns it around, using each forbidden moment as a move in a counter-plot designed to leave her with nothing. Rachel Greer is the cast name Candy lists, and the catalog does not say which role she plays, so we leave it open.

The appeal is the double-cross. Viewers are invited to watch a trap being turned inside out, with the husband in control and the wife as the schemer who misjudged him. Every character is an adult, and the masseuse is a professional hired into the plot rather than a bystander. The tone promised is glossy and calculating, more thriller than romance. In our Wife & Marriage category it is a revenge story, where neighbours such as Lodge 69 Was Double Booked and Our New Babysitter run on plain temptation.

Episode guide

Honey Trap in Silk unfolds over 5 episodes, set out in the table with prices, and each runs under two minutes. The free portion ends at Episode 2, the point after which the counter-plot has to be paid for.

Is Honey Trap in Silk free?

Partly. Candy offers 2 free episodes out of 5: Episode 1 with no account, Episode 2 once you register at no cost. The other 3 cost 12 tokens each, which adds up to 36 tokens to see how the revenge lands.

That is the regular price for a marriage story, cheaper than The Anniversary Massage at 48 tokens and far below the 90 tokens of Thanksgiving With My Best Friend’s Mom, the Lexi Luna twin series in this category. A revenge plot pays off at the end, and free viewing stops after Episode 2, so the resolution of the counter-plot sits in the 3 paid episodes.

How explicit is it?

Heat 3/5 · Explicit: Nudity and sex scenes in the paid episodes, with the story taking much of the runtime.

On our scale it is Explicit, Heat 3, the level every unrated public series carries until an editor watches it in full. Expect nudity and sex scenes in the paid episodes; the free ones are spent mostly on the setup, the wife's plan and the masseuse she hires. Candy's lone Wife tag describes the marriage at the centre of the plot, not how much the episodes show, so it neither raises nor lowers the level.

What each level of access gets you

To reach the payoff as cheaply as possible, watch the free Episode 2 and unlock the rest with tokens. Premium makes sense only if you plan to keep going through marriage and massage-themed stories, because 100 tokens a month would cover this and The Anniversary Massage together; on yearly billing Premium costs $3.99 a month. Our pricing explainer covers the details.

If you liked it: similar series

All four are Wife & Marriage series at the same 36 tokens and Explicit baseline, each putting a third person into a couple: Our New Babysitter is closest, a hire brought in by the wife who has her own plans for the husband; Couples Therapy With Margot Vey also uses a professional, a counselor; My Neighbor Stopped Closing The Blinds swaps the scheme for a neighbour on display; and Lodge 69 Was Double Booked puts two couples in one cabin.

Our verdict

Honey Trap in Silk is more plot-driven than the usual marriage story, built on a scheme and a counter-scheme rather than a single temptation. That gives it a clear arc at the standard 36 tokens, the price of Our New Babysitter, where the hire is no part of the wife's plan. Its limitation is that a revenge plot needs the ending to work, the short format compresses it, and no editor has rated it beyond the Explicit baseline yet.

Pick it over Our New Babysitter if you want a husband who sees the trap and turns it. Skip it if you want a simple temptation story or a sympathetic romance. Start with Episode 1 logged out, then the free account for Episode 2, and pay for the rest only if you want to see the trap close.

Best for: Viewers who like revenge plots, double-crosses and high-society marriages
