Under the Chief on Candy AIhospital hierarchy behind a locked door

What Under the Chief is about

Awkward Harriet never expects the hospital's head surgeon to lock the on-call room and offer her some very personal mentoring. Outside the door waits a resentful head nurse determined to get Harriet dismissed.

This is a rank story set in a hospital. Harriet is an awkward member of staff, the head surgeon sits at the very top of the ladder, and the series is built on the moment he singles her out behind a closed door. Everyone involved is an adult colleague. The power gap between them is the premise, and like everything on Candy it is fictional adult role-play, which is how we read and rate it.

What keeps it from being a two-hander is the head nurse. She already wants Harriet gone, and her presence just outside the room gives every private moment an edge of exposure and office politics. Candy's cast list names Harriet Seagrave. It sits in our Workplace & Power category, next to the other series about bosses, captains and chiefs, and the name Harriet Seagrave also appears in Under the Boss and Mum Got Sick On Our Holiday. Making the lead an underdog rather than a schemer is what gives it a character of its own.

Episode guide

Under the Chief is divided into 5 episodes, listed below, each running under two minutes. The free rows are marked, and every episode after Episode 2 shows its token price.

Is Under the Chief free?

Partly: 2 out of 5 episodes can be watched at no cost. Episode 1 starts without any login, and Episode 2 asks only for a free account. From there, 3 paid episodes at 12 tokens each make 36 tokens for the full run.

That price is identical to the other standard workplace series we suggest below, such as Under The Captain, so you are not paying extra for the hospital setting. Under the Boss, where a Harriet Seagrave faces a jealous rival at a London firm, costs the same 36 tokens.

How explicit is it?

Heat 3/5 · Explicit: Nudity and sex scenes in the paid episodes, with the story taking much of the runtime.

Rated by default rather than by an editor, Under the Chief sits at Heat 3, Explicit, the baseline for public series. On our scale that means sex scenes and nudity once the paid episodes begin, while the free ones mostly set up Harriet, the head surgeon's attention and the head nurse outside the door. Candy gives the series no tags, and that says nothing about how much is shown, since tags describe a setup. All of the hospital staff in it are adults.

What each level of access gets you

The cheapest way through Under the Chief is to unlock only the paid episodes, 36 tokens in all. Premium earns its place only if you are planning a run through the workplace shelf, where its 100 monthly tokens go further. The yearly plan starts at $3.99 a month, and our pricing guide compares the options.

If you liked it: similar series

All four suggestions sit in the same category with the same baseline heat and standard price: The Chief’s Private Detail and Under The Captain echo the rank-and-authority theme most closely, while The Groom’s Personal Trainer turns the power dynamic into a client-and-trainer arrangement and Boss Paid Me to Watch His Wife makes a boss's order the trap.

Our verdict

Under the Chief has a clear setup: an unlikely lead, a figure of authority and a rival who could expose them. That rival gives it more tension than a single-couple setup would have. The limits are a heat level that is still the public-series baseline and a premise that leans on a rank gap, which some viewers will find uncomfortable even as fictional adult role-play. At 36 tokens it costs what Under The Captain costs, the closest match, which swaps the hospital for a superyacht and the nurse for a jealous chief stew.

Pick it if you want an underdog lead and a rival on the staff rather than a scheming lead. Skip it if boss-and-employee setups do not sit well with you. Start with the free Episode 1, sign up to see Episode 2, and judge the hospital triangle before spending a token.

Best for: Viewers who like medical settings, rank gaps and office-style rivalry
